It's neighbour, Riverdale (to the West) and the Beaches (to the East) are a short distance away where houses can sell for almost twice the amount! If your budget to buy your house is from $300-000 to $400,000 you should be able to find something in this vibrant Toronto residential pocket.
Most houses in the ‘Little India' pocket of Toronto are either within walking distance to either Greenwood or Coxwell subway stations, or the Gerrard Street Car will take you to Yonge and College Street in about 15 minutes. There are many shops, parks (Monarch Park, Greenwood Park) and schools to choose from and there is a real sense of community in this part of Downtown Toronto.
